iToner
Posted by Michael Manna in News on August 31, 2007
Here is a blog entry I dound on ipodobserver.com:
Ambrosia Software announced the immediate availability of iToner 1.0 on Friday. iToner is a Mac OS X-based application that adds custom ring tones to Apple’s iPhone without requiring any special hacks.
The application sports a drag-and-drop interface for copying MP3 and AAC from a Mac to an iPhone where they appear along with the pre-installed ring tones. Since it does not require any changes to the iPhone or its code, ring tones will remain accessible even after iPhone software updates.
iToner is priced at US$15, and is available for download at the Ambrosia Software Web site.
Apple Launching Ringtone Management Sept. 5th?
Posted by Michael Manna in News on August 31, 2007
September 5th is a big day for Apple as far as iTunes and iPods are concerned. However, now add the iPhone to all the fanboys speculation. It is rumored that purchased music from iTunes can be made into a ringtone for your iPhone. Also, you can pick whatever part of the song and set that as the ringtone. Along with purchases after September 5th, all previous purchases are included in this new feature. That’s great, but what is there for the guy who uses his iPhone strictly as a WiFi-enabled Video iPod. Sigh.

We Apologize……….

We are sorry that a full podcast nor a quickcast have been put up on iTunes lately. Robbie and I did record a couple full podcasts, but due to “technical difficulties”, the quality of them were not up to our expectations. See, you’re not the only ones who get frustrated by technology. As a matter of fact, that’s why we started this blog and the podcast…….because we have the most issues with every piece of technology we’ve owned. Anyway, we will have a new one up ASAP.
