NeatReceipts for Mac
January 19, 2008 by Michael Manna

NeatReceipts for Mac scans, saves, and uses optical character recognition (OCR) to save receipt data into a catalogue. It will automatically identify key terms like total, tip, and tax lines and categorize receipts appropriately. A custom-made coverflow view for browsing stored receipts is also available.
From Michael: This is a product I am buying the minute it comes out. For any Mac user that travels and has to organize expenses, I highly recommend it. I have used the Windows version and it really works well. I can only imagine how much better it will be on a Mac. Let’s just hope that NeatReceipts will integrate with Cha-Ching or QuickBooks.
