Left 4 Dead DLC Announced

The upcoming Left 4 Dead “Survival Pack” DLC which will include 2 new playable versus mode campaigns of the “Dead Air” and “Death Toll” scenerios and a brand new mode called “Survival Mode which will feature “up to four players competing for the longest time surviving hordes of zombies on over 12 maps. The new DLC will be FREE for both PC and Xbox 360 gamers this Spring 2009.

Call Of Duty: World At War DLC Announced

Activision has revealed that the first DLC map pack for Call of Duty: World at War will hit PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 in March for a rumored 800 MS points ($10).

The DLC will bring four new multiplayer maps taking players into “the streets of a war-ravaged Berlin in ‘Nightfire,’ deep into deadly jungles to attack fortified Japanese positions in ‘Knee Deep’ and through a bombed out underground subway system in ‘Station.’”
The fourth map, “Verruckt (Zombie Asylum),” will expand the four-player survival mode against Nazi Zombies, supplying more weapons and new Perks-a-Cola machines.
“G.I. Joe” Movie Game Announced

Today, Electronic Arts announced that it is planning to release a video game based on the upcoming G.I. Joe film. The game will be released during the summer along with the movie.

Electronic Arts Inc. today announced that development is underway to bring Hasbro’s legendary G.I. JOE® brand to all major console and handheld gaming platforms in summer 2009 to coincide with the theatrical release of the G.I. JOE: THE RISE OF COBRA live-action movie from Paramount Pictures and Spyglass Entertainment, in association with Hasbro, which opens in theaters August 7, 2009. EA will unveil a “first look” of the G.I. JOE® video game at Hasbro’s Showroom at Toy Fair on February 15-17, 2009 in New York City.
The game will be released on the Xbox 360, PS3, PS2, PSP, Wii, and Nintendo DS in Summer 2009.
